Expecting Lily

Well each day that goes by means that Lily is closer to being here. Jessica keeps telling me "ANYDAY" that she will be here and I keep telling here that Lily will come when she is ready and not before. I am getting excited though and know the waiting is the hardest part for us all, but soon the waiting will be done and we will wish that we had a little more time, lol. But I do love all my grandbabies very much and I only want them to be healthy and happy. I am going to post pictures of her new afghan that is almost finished, and yes it is done before she is born. I know this is amazing to Jessica, since I was a little bit slow on finishing Nikki's afghan, but hey it got finished too. See I posted another blog, Jessica.

Summer is almost over!!!!!!!!!

Jessica seems to think I need to blog more, but to be quit honest, I forget too, lol. The grandkids have grown over the past summer so much. It is really hard to believe they are not little babies anymore, but actually grade schooler's. Now with Lilliana coming along, things will have to be baby proofed again. I am about half way finished with here beautify "mile the minute" afghan. Who knows it might actually be finished before she is born. Jessica keeps bugging me about it, after all it took for everrrrrrrrrrrr, to finish poor Nikki's, LOL.

Papa is still in school slugging away, he might be finished before they finish grade school, LOL. "Family Joke" He got himself a bunch of electrical gadgets to play with today. Apprentally the school is upgrade to new stuff and was getting rid of the old. He is in 5th heaven.

I tried to teach the kids, Aunt Pattie to knit, she gave up on it. I tried to teach their cousin to crochet and he just told me he is giving up on it, lol. That is 2 strikes, one more and i guess I am out. Anyway, it is about time to crash for the night, so maybe Jessica will see this tomorrow.

Summer fun

Well, summer is finally here and now Jessica is watching all the grandkids, so I guess that means I have a "Free" summer, lol. Maybe I will do more knitting and crocheting. Who knows I might even finish Nicole's afghan and start "Lily Pod's". I have not decided on the design or color(s) as of yet, but thinking maybe Lavender.

Worries and Happiness

As everyone knows, troubled times as a way of find each of us. I don't know what everyone's problem is, and I don't really care. What matters most to me are my grandbabies and their parents. When any of them are hurting it breaks my heart. I wish there was an easy way to fix it, like kissing a boob boob with a hug and kiss. But it isn't that simple with grown children.

We have a new grandbaby on the way and really pray and hope that all it's grandparents' love it as much as my husband and I will. I know Jessica needs that love as well. May God take care of them both.

Grandbabies

Well, I told you about Kidney Bean, now it is time to say something about the rest of bunch. HayHay and Nickle are busy driving mommy nuts, simply because they can. Tao and Lizbeth are doing the same to their mom. For some reason they don't do this to Nana and Papa they way the do to their parents. They are all growing up so fast it is hard to believe that they are in School. Oh and don't let me forget about the granddaughter I haven't gotten to meet yet Brittany. I know from her pictures she is beauty, but I still can't wait to see and hug her. I have a weakness for kids, not sure why. I love to spoil them and send them home. Oh well enough for now I am not much of a writer, until next time. Bye

Baby

Well I got to go with Jessica for her Ultrasound, boy was it amazing. She was at the time 5 wks 5 days along, but you could see and hear the heart beat. The baby looked like a little Kidney Bean on the screen, so until it arrives that is Nana's name for it, LOL. I am sure Jessica's has much more to say on the subject so check out her blog.

Wonderful surprise

Well if you have read "Jessica's" blog you know that I am going to be a grandma again. Interesting enough is that Jessica and Robert are very happy about it and so are the girls. HayHay wants triple boys, hehehe. Sweet revenge. I haven't heard what Nickle wants. Me I just want it to be healthy. Because it is God's will that it is coming. Because things don't happen without a reason, we just may not understand or know the reasoning. But any child is a blessing, so me I am happy. I love babies, I just don't want to raise anymore, me I want to spoil them and send them home on a love and sugar high. LOL

Lets just say that i am new at this, but I am going to give it a shot to see how it goes. It is actually kind of like type a continues letter with answers to the next. My youngest daughter wanted me to start this to meet Brittany's grandma. Oh Brittany is Robert's daughter and he is kind of sort-a my son-in-law to be, LOL. So this blog is going to be about my grandbabies and crafts.
